This is a rare sight! I saw one last season, lately almost every day. They're very elusive. Again I had to shoot this image thru a window. I had towash the windows since I'm getting so many photo op's!

@Ron: thanks Ron. I witnessed the female keeping guard over him while he bathed today...she's not quite as pretty!
A most fortuitous shot! I've never seen one of these in person; this is a beautiful bird.
