Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaYou succeeded and then some, wow, fantastic light show, love the colour too :) 15 May 2008 12:34pm @Lorraine: thank you, it WAS quite the LOUD light show, it got me out of bed at 4am to photo! Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesHey Cheryl! This is awesome! Love the processing too!!! 15 May 2008 1:07pm @Craig: thanks Craig! the only thing I did in processing was to adjust curves because it was over exposed to begin with Daroru from Amagasaki, JapanIt's very 'striking', if you'll pardon the pun. What's that haloing? Was that the result of some PP or is it just the way the image came out? 15 May 2008 1:41pm @Daroru: great pun! I tried to take out the haloing but I couldn't. I think that is the energy pulsating from the lightning. the image was underexposed. I only tweaked the curves to adjust for it and that brought out the purple also. the halo was there to begin with. Debbe from Great Falls, United StatesAWESOME!!! God in all His glorious works and you captured the moment. Thanks! My favorite so far. 15 May 2008 2:02pm @Debbe: thanks so much Debbe! I'm glad you like it. Helen from Melbourne, AustraliaOh my, how extraordinary! You can see the energy pulsing out from the lighting! I like the sihouette effect in the front as well. Great capture Cheryl 15 May 2008 7:24pm @Helen: yes, I tried to get out the haloing but I think you're right..it's the energy from the lightning! Thanks for you comment Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesImpressive, for a first or hundredth effort Cheryl. Might I say, "electrifying!" 15 May 2008 7:39pm @Viewfinder: thank you very much! MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWow! I'm sooooo glad I manged to finally get to see this! 15 May 2008 9:05pm @MaryB: you're too kind!! thank you, your enthusiasm swells my head LOL amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaReally cool effect you got from that 30 second exposure! Makes for a great abstract type of image. 15 May 2008 9:43pm @amy: thanks Amy! it came out a bit over exposed so I tweeked it a bit in PS7 with curves @Ron: :-) thanks @Zoinks: thank you! Kelela from Upland, United StatesOh, wow!!! Super Fabulous! I think I have to pick my jaw off from the floor. 16 May 2008 3:37am @Kelela: you're too funny, thanks for your comments!! akarui from Kagoshima, JapanNice results for the first try. In Texas there are lost of lightning and you can have more training... 16 May 2008 10:48pm @akarui: yes, I hope to get more practice in! The image came out over exposed so I adjusted it using curve in PS and this is the way it turned out! I think it's the energy from the lightning. I've tried to take it out and it is not possible! Margie from Auckland, New ZealandI like the weird ghosting and radiating light...very cool. 17 May 2008 8:24am @Margie: thanks Margie, it just came out that way! |
