Good close-up. There seems to be a slight veil over it as if the photo was taken through a window pane.

@vu@granby - Wolfgang: yes, that seems to be in all my images lately, I took the camera in for evaluation.
I wish I could offer some advice Cheryl, but I'm useless with technical details. I have trouble catching little birds from a distance, but you've done a great job here.

I think this image is gorgeous; love the soft focus and color tones--all work beautifully on this sweet little creature. I love it! Really Really Nice!

This is a good one Cheryl. 1/250 speed makes it easier... I am not sure if adding some contrast and sharpening on this lovely bird would improve the picture as there is a general softness feeling but you could give it a try especially on the head and shoulder wing.
