Boerne was founded by Germans. The city still celebrates the German heritage today thru architecture and festivals

Cheryl, your town looks so inviting. Where's Santa? The Toy Shoppe picture makes me think that Christmas is (GASP!) only 5 months tomorrow! Have loved seeing the sights through your "eyes". Keep up the great work.

The hurricane south of you might have helped with the rain. LOL Cool German architecture! I'm enjoying the series! Borne is much different than I had imagined! It is more upscale than I think the typical Texas town looks (haven't spent a whole lot of time in Texas).
